Mixing Secrets For The Small Studio by Mike Senior

As an avid audio enthusiast, producer, mixer, composer and recordist and an educator of same at City College of San Francisco, you can imagine that I’ve read a LOT of books on the topic.  I’m passionate about sound and always seek out new and fresh texts for my students.  I FOUND AN EXCELLENT “MUST HAVE” for anyone pursuing music recording and mixing as a career and life-long hobby.

Mike Senior is the Mix Specialist at Sound On Sound magazine – one of my favorite’s that I’ve subscribed to for several years. His articles are always highly entertaining and educational even for an old pro.  His book does not disappoint. He’s a great writer and I thoroughly recommend it for newbies and oldbies!

Check out the link here and buy this. It’s a fantastic read with some great example/samples throughout.
