“It was meant to be” is the hackneyed phrase and it’s happened several times this week. On this particular occasion, I awoke to the parting of the clouds on this very humid rain on/off morning to witness the gorgeous cirrus clouds (my favorite) lit by the June full moon.
Breathtaking.
Though I sought a glass of water to quench my thirst, I was treated to a lovely view of the sky only to remind me of my utter insignificance in the galaxy. There, 238,900 miles from me, a shining gorgeous celestial body, a satellite of the Earth, our Earth, our very important life-sustaining Earth.
